Dean R. and Betty I. Andrews General Scholarship Endowment

The Dean R. and Betty I. Andrews General Scholarship is available to students who live in Rowan or Cabarrus counties and are attending Rowan-Cabarrus full- or part-time students. Dean and Betty Andrews are long-time residents and business owners in Concord, NC. They have been in business for 37 years manufacturing elastic yarn for apparel. Their high performance yarns have world-wide sales and distribution for cut-resistance gloves. They have three sons and nine grandchildren. One of their sons, Greg, and his wife, Cordelia, created this endowed fund in their honor in 2011.
